Stockyard Rural advantage is the access to a broad range of seed. With multiple suppliers and a strong storage facility; there is the ability to supply a broad range of seed. Depending on seed quantity needed there is the ability to get the seed blended; generally for quantities over 25kg.
Our staff have a broad technical knowledge giving the ability to recommend blends suited to your environment.
Tips to consider when selecting/creating a pasture blend.
- Time of year sowing
- Weather / Environmental Conditions eg annual and timing of rainfall
- Types of animals grazing and frequency eg continuous grazing
- Soil nutrient level requirements change depending on pasture species.
